Yeezy 700 Mauves pick up day

27th October 2018 - what was a normal relaxing Saturday to most was an iconic pulse-racing day for sneakerheads around the world. Kanye West had just released his latest Yeezy 700, and we weren't missing out on the heat!

This particular release was highly anticipated following the recent Waverunner re-release in September. The Yeezy 700 Waverunner first hit the market back in August 2017 exclusively via the Yeezy Supply online store, and with talks of Kanye x Adidas making Yeezy's more widely available, as proven by the restock quantity of the Yeezy 350 V2 White, we were all eager to see if the Mauves would be available to us on the initial release. And luckily for us, they were!

Alarms rang, instagram DM's were screenshotted (we all know the inner panic that comes when you can't find that message from OS), crep protect was sprayed and people made their way to Selfridges for the 9:30am Offspring release.

This pick up was a little different to the previous releases at Offspring as there were a few extra goodies included for all picking up, and even for those that weren't.

The first bonus was a tote bag colour matched to the Mauves - my personal favourite touch! It complimented the shoes extremely well, and is definitely something that any collector will appreciate in their collection.

The second little treat was a little figure given to customers to reward them for their loyalty to Offspring. This was in collaboration with Adidas and was available for those picking up that day, as well as any other customers making an Adidas purchase.

Goodies in hand, laces swapped and new faces met The Real Sole Family were on their way.

A successful day all around.
